H-abstraction
Two primary factors determine the site of H-abstraction:
- Orientation of substrate in active site
- ‘Docking’ of substrate
- Freedom to move?
- Dependent on isoform and substrate
- Electronic properties of substrate
- Barrier to abstraction of H
- Independent of isoform
