Grain structure studies using Orientation Imaging Microscopy (OIM) on tempered power plant steels [4, 5]
Studies grain orientation and calculates grain boundary characteristics
Found that grains are elongated and size is rather inhomogeneous
So grain size is perhaps not a good parameter to measure
But clear relaxation of structure visible with longer tempering time
