The first picture shows a metallurgist I met in Mumbai Airport, on his way home from Saudi Arabia following a one year mission to inspect and certify oil pipelines. The pictures that follow show the Ashok Hotel in New Dehli, where an international conference was held on the subject of aluminium and its alloys.
