We decided to really clean laboratories 307 and 309, following the realisation that we no longer want to live in dust and debris. The operation, which involved the whole research group, began with morning coffee and scones. This is partly to wake up and partly to get the calories.
A huge amount of remains from previous research projects were boldly disposed off. The dust was removed, the shelves polished with water, and finally, Mathew was brought under control.
To celebrate, the group then had lunch in the Regal pub.
