On the picture of the ice-breaker, I am told by Hilkka Kettinen that Sisu means stamina, strong will and more, the characteristic of the Finns this country was built with and we are famous for. Also, the flag on the boat (labelled 'The Finnish Flag') is actually a state flag as there is the red square and the lion in the middle. The standard one is only a blue cross on white. |
