The classic experiment of 1875, showing the evolution of bubbles of hydrogen from freshly cooked steel. The hydrogen is atomic in the steel, diffuses to the surface where it holds hands with another hydrogen atom, they then bond and float off in ecstasy.

Ashwin was actually at Robinson College, but Harry (using powers that are not vested in him) made him an honorary member of Darwin. He will be back in Cambridge during 2018, for the formal Degree Ceremony - even though he graduated in 2011, he likes to take his time and do things properly, on this occasion in latin.
