Carbon diffusivity in ferrite calculator

H. K. D. H. Bhadeshia

Diffusion involving both octahedral and tetrahedral interstices. The interstice fraction represents the fraction of total interstitial atoms that are in octahedral interstices. The correlation factor f = 0.86 accounts for the non-random directionality of successive interstitial jumps through the body-centred cubic ferrite lattice.
