Precipitation Reactions in 10CrMoV Steel: Comparison with Theory

The precipitation of alloy carbides during the long term heat treatment of 10CrMoV martensitic steel is modelled. The calculations allow in principle for the simultaneous formation of all kinds of precipitates, albeit at different rates.
