Harry visited the Missouri University of Science and Technology to deliver the 27th A. Frank Golick Lecture. In fact, two lectures, one for a general audience and the other for a metallurgical audience. The University is located at Rolla, focussing on engineering education. It originally was created in 1870 as the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, and covered mining and agriculture.
