A nice meeting of a large body of metallurgists from all over the world, discussing and arguing about some deep aspects of the subject that is "high-strength low-alloy steels". Such steels have immeasurably improved the quality of life in a way that applies to all in the large population of the world.
On the day after the meeting ended, there was time to take in some sights before catching a high-speed train with Ting Ping Hou, to Wuhan.
