Description

The tar file contains data on the formation of austenite in steels. File Austenite.data has the actual data, while Austenite.info contains an ASCII text version of this explanation.

The data are arranged in columns as follows :-

Column 1 is the row number.

Columns 2-21 give concentrations of elements in the steel, weight percent :-

Carbon
Silicon
Manganese
Sulphur
Phosphorus
Copper
Nickel
Chromium
Molybdenum
Niobium
Vanadium
Titanium
Aluminium
Boron
Tungsten
Arsenic
Tin
Zirconium
Cobalt
Nitrogen
Oxygen

Column 22 is the Ac1 temperature in centigrade

Column 23 is the Ac3 temperature in centigrade

Column 24 is the heating rate in K/s
