Provides dilatometric data on the bainite transformation in bainitic steels continuously cooled at 0.1°C/s between 50°C above the predicted bainite start, and the predicted martensite start temperature.
The tar file contains three parts:
bainite.continuous.cooling.comps contains composition data on the five steels used and their predicted bainite and martensite start temperatures.
Column 1 contains the ID number.
Columns 2-8 contain chemical composition data in weight percent.
Column 9 contains predicted bainite start temperature in degrees celsius.
Column 10 contains predicted martensite start temperature in degrees celsius.
bainite.continuous.cooling.data contains dilatometric data on the heating and continuous cooling of the five steels. It is in five sections of three columns each.
Column 1 contains temperature in degrees celsius.
Column 2 contains the dilatation in mm.
Column 3 contains the time in seconds.
The first row of each section contains the ID number.
File bainite.continuous.cooling.info contains an ASCII text version of this explanation.
