Purpose

Provides dilatometric data on the isothermal decomposition of austenite at 973 K, 913 K and 873 K in a medium carbon microalloyed forging steel of composition: 0.37C - 1.45Mn - 0.56Si - 0.04Cr - 0.025Mo - 0.11V - 0.14Cu - 0.015Ti. Data for two different prior austenite grain sizes (PAGS) are supplied.

Description

The tar file contains four parts:

isothermal.700 contains contains dilatometric data of 973 K isothermal decomposition of austenite with PAGS = 11 microns and PAGS = 76 microns.

isothermal.640 contains contains dilatometric data of 913 K isothermal decomposition of austenite with PAGS = 11 microns and PAGS = 76 microns.

isothermal.600 contains contains dilatometric data of 873 K isothermal decomposition of austenite with PAGS = 11 microns and PAGS = 76 microns.

All the files have the same structure. Three columns each.

File isothermal.info contains an ASCII text version of this explanation.
