Description

Data are provided for a steel of composition:

Element Weight %
C 0.45
Si 2.08
Mn 2.69
Cr 0.02
Mo 0.0
Ni 0.0

The tar file consists of thermec.txt, an ASCII text version of this document, and eleven separate data files, named following the format loadxx.map, where xx is a number. Each file contains three columns :-

Column 1 is the temperature in celsius.

Column 2 contains the strain values (d/do - 1).

Column 3 is the time in seconds.
