David Duke Awarded MBE, 1st January 2010



David John Duke. Principal technician, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge has been honoured with the award of an MBE by the Queen, for services to science.

An 'MBE' stands for Member of the Order of the British Empire. It is one of the highest honours a civilian in Great Britain can obtain.
