Rolls-Royce is focusing on five business areas, Civil and Defence Aerospace, Marine, Energy and Finance.
All of these are supported by Operations and other capabilities in a matrix structure.
Marine has two customer facing business units - Naval and Commercial which is a natural split of the customer base.
Each customer facing business unit has accountability to take products and services to market, then produce the profit we require to meet the business plans and double digit earnings growth.
They will be supported by a range of common products, capabilities and knowledge which have grown and developed over the years and which are now enhanced by the acquisition of Vickers. We now have the opportunity to apply these assets even more widely.
