Hala Salman Hassan and Aseel Al Hamdeny visited Babylon, which is about 85 kilometers south of Baghdad. Tne photographs show one of the palaces, partly damaged by war. The views were really beautiful from the entrance, and the plethora of palm trees add to the picture. The ancient Babylonian city is closed, but still possible to see it from the
palace. Both the old city and the palace were built upon the Euphrates river.
