The Persian New Year in Canada

In the Deptartmen of Materials Engineering at the University of British Columbia there are many Persian students, Postdoctoral research assistants and Professors. Moreover, a high number density of Persian people live in Vancouver, so they enjoy and celebrate Persian events. All in the Department at UBC naturally participate, irrespective of nationality. These are pictures of the Nowruz celebration at Materials Engineering Department (you may see Professor David Embury, Matthias Militzer,..). Some pictures also taken form new year celebration in other places in Vancouver.
