Bob Waugh's laboratory books

The books, which represent Bob's records while he was at the University of Cambridge, have kindly been provided by Dr Sally Waugh.

Bob worked extensively on the field ion microscope, the time-of-flight spectrometer, imaging atom probe, liquid ion sources, steels, superalloys, aluminium alloys, semiconductors, iridium, ruthenium, rhenium, tungsten, molybdenum etc. He built his own insturments, supported by Mike Southon and later, Brian Ralph.
